  Whenever you find a restaurant with such a dedicated owner/head Chef like Kevin you never forget your experience. The aura surrounding Loondocks is simply amazing. I have been to Loondocks every year since they first opened and am about as loyal a customer as they come. If I were to summarize Loondocks in one word it would be FRESH. The service, the food, the ambiance are all carefully designed to create an amazing dining experience. Thank you to all the staff that have made my many experiences at Loondocks so memorable. In the famous words of Arnold Schwarzenegger "I will be back".

  Waitress was lovely, (and yes you do NOT look 25!), and the food was 5stars all the way (and I trained 5star, so there)...I wish you could see the water from tables inside better, but we will DEF be back for more amazing food and enjoy the view from the deck shortly! TIP: the forest mushroom risotto was the best I have EVER had! Jocelyn :)

  If you are ever in Port Carling and you want the dinner ever then Loondocks is for you. They specialize in casual fine dining that embodies a menu that prides itself on everything being a fresh and sustainable as anything you will find. All breads, sauces, soups & stocks made in house, beef tenderloin from a local butcher...oh and they grow all their own herbs out front! All their draft beers are local craft beers, you are really in touch with Muskoka when you are here (PS try the Muskoka Salad)! The real story is told in the food. You have to try the Mac & Cheese, it is out of this world. I have been there a few times over the last 2 years and every time the service and food never disappoint. I would highly recommend this place for any occasion.
